Mark and Celeste Morrison had a healthy, growing family at 860 Cedar Creek.  But this Christmas, things seem to be falling apart.  The Christmas tree was set afire by faulty light wiring. Thankfully, Mark and Celeste managed to put it out together, and replaced the tree and ruined presents. But now, little Tessa seems to be acting up - she stayed home from school, hiding under the Christmas tree all day! Andrew, her twin brother, has been up to no good, and Cherry, their older sister, dreams of a law career - but hasn't even gotten into private school yet! Will Celeste get out of her cookbooks and realize there are big problems in her home? Will Mark be able to support his family on a Teachers' Aide salary? Will Tessa and Andrew make up, or are they enemies for life? Will the twins manage to get something from Santa for Christmas? For that matter, will Santa come - at all???
