How to Download

1.  Click on the item that you would like to download.

2.  Choose "Save" and save to your desktop for easiest finding.

3.  Right Click the file, and choose "Extract All" and extract to your desktop, again for easy finding.

• For Items that download as a Sims2Pack, simply double click the file on your desktop and it will install automatically.  You can then feel free to delete the Sims2Pack from your desktop.

• For items that are NOT a Sims2Pack, simply drag and drop the items into My Documents/EA Games/The Sims2/Downloads.

4.  Now all the items will be available in your game!  Feel free to delete the left over zipped files after you have installed.

If for any reason you are having trouble installing the sims2packs, I HIGHLY recommend using the sims2clean installer to install.. This tool is probably the most helpful tool that you could possibly have for your Sims games, and chances are that any problems that you are having installing can be cured by using the clean installer.  After installing this program, simply double click your package, and click "Install" in the pop up that appears.

If you have installed a recolored item, and it is not showing in your game, make sure you have the most recent version of the Color Enabler Package created by Numenor, RGiles, and Quaxi, installed.

Uploading to Other Sites

All of the downloads created by us may be uploaded to thesims2.ea.com, with credit, except for all lots.  You may include our object meshes in pictures for a lot, but you may not upload the mesh with the lot.  Instead, add a link to where they can get the mesh for the item.  Our creations may not be uploaded to any other website without permission.  If you are interested in using our creations on your own website, contact me and I will be happy to discuss the possibility with you.  If you see one of our creations on another site, please feel free to contact me to let me know.

Meshes and Recoloring Policy

Meshes and their recolors are property of Simcastic Designs.  Meshes from this site cannot be distributed on any other site without written permission.  If you use recolors of our meshes in an upload, please link directly back to this site for the mesh, unless permission has been granted to do otherwise.  No recoloring of our meshes without prior written permission.  If you are interested in any of the above, please feel free to contact me to discuss it. None of our items may appear in any way, shape or form on any site that promotes paying for custom content.
